Goals - Tasks - Structures

IN VIA München e.V., Catholic Association for Girls' and Women's Social Work is a legally independent organisation. It is active in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The association has its headquarters and office in Munich. 

The goals, tasks and structures are regulated in the statutes.

The organs of the organisation are the General Assembly of Members, the IN VIA Council and the Board of Directors.

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body. In particular, it has the task of electing and discharging the IN VIA Council, supporting the work of the association and initiating new activities.

Natural and legal persons who wish to promote the tasks of IN VIA in the sense of the declared purpose of the association in accordance with the statutes and intentions can become members of the association. Membership must be applied for in writing. We would be pleased to inform you about the possibility of supporting our organisation as a member.


The IN VIA Council is made up of voting and advisory members. 

The tasks of the IN VIA Council include, in particular, appointing, advising, supporting and supervising the Executive Board as well as passing resolutions on the budget and annual accounts.

The Executive Board consists of the full-time Executive Director. They are appointed by the IN VIA Council for a period of five years.
The Executive Director manages the organisation and represents it in and out of court in accordance with § 26 BGB (German Civil Code), and always alone. Their tasks include, in particular, the management of day-to-day business, the planning and development of the organisation's work and responsibility for personnel and finances.
